…Urban Herriges & Sons, Inc. has been a pioneer in the remodeling industry. Owned and operated by the Herriges family in Mukwonago, Urban Herriges & Sons. began remodeling homes in 1972. Today, Herriges still strives for new and better ways to serve its customers.

 

The Herriges family settled in Wisconsin from Germany in 1846, but it was Phil Herriges who became the first builder from the family to start a business; Phil Herriges, Inc. was opened in 1927 in Milwaukee. He was followed in business by his son, Urban, who moved his business to Mukwonago in 1972 and was eventually joined by his sons, Dean and Bob. They continued the remodeling tradition and are now joined by Julie and Lisa, Dean’s daughters, who own and run the business.
